Classification Of Titanium Alloys

Titanium alloy is an alloy composed of other elements based on titanium. According to the effect of temperature change, it can be divided into the following three categories: α alloy, (α+β) alloy and β alloy. In our country, they are indicated by TA, TC, TB .
α titanium alloy
A single-phase alloy composed of α phase solid solution, at general temperature or at higher practical application temperature, it is α phase, the structure is stable. At the temperature of 500℃~600℃, it still maintains its strength and creep resistance ,但cannot carry out intensive heat treatment, room temperature strength is not high.
β titanium alloy
β phase solid solutioncomposed of a single phase alloy, which has higher strength before heat treatment, after quenching and tempering, the alloy is further strengthened.
α+β titanium alloy
Double-phase alloy, has good mechanical properties, good structural stability, good toughness, plasticity and high temperature deformation properties, can carry out hot pressure processing better, can carry out quenching, and can strengthen the alloy after heat treatment. 电视剧50%~100%; high temperature intensity high,
Among the three types of titanium alloy, the most commonly used is α titanium alloy and α+β titanium alloy; α titanium alloy's cutting processing is the best, α+β titanium alloy is the best, and β titanium alloy is the most inferior (basically, it is rarely used until this time).
At present, the commonly used titanium alloy in the world is TC4 (Gr5) Ti-6Al-4V. The technology of this brand is mature, and all products are basically developed around this foundation.
