Source: Excerpt from the "Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on the Release of the First Batch Application Demonstration Guidance Catalog of Key New Materials (2024 Edition)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue").

According to the new version of the Catalog, a total of 299 key new materials are divided into three categories: advanced basic materials, key strategic materials, and cutting-edge new materials. Among them, the titanium material part is organized as follows:

Titanium alloy material

Titanium alloy rod and wire

(1) Ultra-high-strength titanium alloy rods (Φ15~300mm): after solid solution aging, the tensile strength is ≥1400MPa, the yield strength is ≥1300MPa, and the elongation is ≥6%; the fracture toughness index is greater than 55MPa·m1/2;

(2) Large single weight titanium alloy disc wire: specifications Φ3~15mm, single roll weight ≥100kg, annealed state: tensile strength ≥920MPa, elongation ≥14%, area shrinkage ≥40%.

(3) Ultra-high strength titanium alloy wire (Φ6~15mm): after solid solution aging, tensile strength ≥ 1500MPa, yield strength ≥ 1400MPa, elongation ≥ 8%; shear strength ≥ 800MPa; fracture toughness ≥ 45MPa·m1/ 2.

Injection molded titanium alloy

(1) TC4: tensile strength ≥950MPa, yield strength ≥850MPa, elongation ≥3%, density ≥4.35g/cm3, hardness ≥300HV, carbon content ≤0.15%, oxygen content ≤0.35%;

(2) Ti: tensile strength ≥500MPa, yield strength ≥400MPa, elongation ≥5%, density ≥4.3g/cm3, hardness ≥150HV, carbon content ≤0.15%, oxygen content ≤0.35%.

Precision titanium alloy castings

(1) Thin-walled complex structure precision titanium alloy castings: grades ZTC4, ZTA15, tensile strength at room temperature ≥890MPa, yield strength ≥820MPa, maximum size of castings ≥Φ1800mm, minimum wall thickness ≤3mm, weight ≥500kg, surface roughness Ra Range 3.2~6.3μm, dimensional accuracy CT5~CT7 level

(2) Large thin-walled complex structure precision high-temperature resistant titanium alloy castings: the tensile strength of the castings at room temperature is ≥930MPa, the yield strength is ≥820MPa, and the elongation is ≥10%; the tensile strength at 500°C is ≥630MPa, and the yield strength is ≥500MPa. Elongation ≥12%; tensile strength at 550℃ high temperature ≥540MPa, yield strength ≥450MPa, elongation ≥15%; maximum size of casting ≥1500mm, minimum wall thickness ≤3mm, weight ≥70kg, surface roughness Ra range 3.2~ 6.3μm, dimensional accuracy CT6~CT7 level;

(3) High pressure-bearing and extremely complex flow channel low-temperature resistant titanium alloy castings: the tensile strength of the casting at room temperature is ≥740MPa, the yield strength is ≥660MPa, and the elongation is ≥9%; the tensile strength at -253°C is ≥1350MPa, and the elongation is ≥11 %; The minimum wall thickness of the casting is ≤3mm, the surface roughness is 3.2~6.3mm, the dimensional accuracy is CT6~CT7, and the water pressure is 67MPa and the pressure is maintained for 15 minutes without leakage.

Titanium-aluminum intermetallic compound forgings for aerospace use

Tensile properties at room temperature: tensile strength ≥ 1050MPa, yield strength ≥ 850MPa, elongation ≥ 5%; shrinkage of area ≥ 6%; tensile properties at 650°C: tensile strength ≥ 800MPa, yield strength ≥ 700MPa, elongation ≥ 10 %; area shrinkage ≥12%; durability life at 650℃/360MPa ≥100h; residual deformation at 650℃/160MPa/100h ≤0.2%; room temperature fracture toughness KIC≥40MPam1/2.
