Titanium Welding Wire

Titanium Welding Wire

It is made from pure titanium wire and alloy wire arranged as if titanium compounds were welded.
In a welding system, the titanium wire is heated and softened,
bonded to the metal, bonded to the titanium amalgam, and then cooled and hardened.

Product Introduction

Detailed introduction

Titanium welding wire is a welding material for welding titanium composites. Titanium amalgam is a significant underlying material with great strength, erosion opposition and low thickness, and has been generally utilized in aviation, car fabricating, synthetic industry and different fields. Titanium welding wire is utilized to associate and fix titanium amalgam parts, which can actually understand the welding of titanium combination.

Common titanium welding wire and typical chemical composition

1. Pure titanium welding wire (AWS A5.16) chemical composition: titanium (Ti . ) with a purity of 99.5%. Scope of application: suitable for welding pure titanium and α-type titanium alloys .

2.α-type titanium alloy welding wire (AWS A5.16) chemical composition: titanium (Ti) alloy, the main component is α-phase titanium alloy elements (such as Ti-6Al-4V). Typical composition: about 90% titanium (Ti), 6% aluminum (Al), 4% vanadium (V) and other trace elements. Application range: suitable for welding α-type titanium alloys, such as the common Ti-6Al-4V.

3.β-type titanium alloy welding wire (AWS A5.16) chemical composition: titanium (Ti) alloy, the main component is β-phase titanium alloy elements. Typical composition: including titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), zirconium (Zr), nickel (Ni) and other elements. Application range: suitable for welding β-type titanium alloys, such as common Ti-3Al-2.5V.

Melting point of titanium welding wire

The degree to which the titanium wire softens depends on the specific titanium assembly used. Generally speaking, titanium compounds have a dissolution point of 1670°C to 1725°C. Various titanium alloys have different structures and therefore different liquefaction focuses. Next is the melting point range of some common titanium compounds:

Pure titanium (grade 1): approximately 1668°C
Titanium compound Ti6Al4V (level 5): about 1600-1650°C
Titanium compound Ti3Al2.5V (level 9): about 1649°C
Titanium alloy Ti-6Al-7Nb: about 1635°C Titanium-15Mo: about 1600-1650°C
