Commonly used on bicycles are threaded holes in aluminum parts such as handlebars, cranks, and seat clamps. Titanium screws and pedal axles are generally acceptable. The perfect restoration is to ream and tap the lower titanium screw inserts, but this procedure cannot be reamed in some places because it is inconvenient and expensive.

The way to make up is to wrap a hemp knife, raw material tape, and apply thread sealant or 502, but the result is that the thread is useless if it is not tightened. Now we introduce a simple fix. As long as it is a small tape measure, an easy-to-pull button, and other useless stretchable things at home, there must be a coil spring in it. Please remove the coil spring before throwing.

If the titanium alloy manufacturer encounters the thread overflow of the titanium screw, you can cut a small section of the coil spring, fold the head, put it into the overflow screw hole, and screw the titanium alloy screw directly into it. Basically, the tightening torque of the original aluminum screw hole can be restored, and the spring can be disassembled repeatedly, and the spring will not fall off. When tightening, you can choose coil springs of different widths according to the size of the titanium alloy screw hole, or put two coil springs into the titanium alloy screw hole.
