1. What is G5 titanium alloy plate?

Titanium and titanium alloy materials are an alloy metal composed of titanium and other metals . Titanium and titanium alloys have the characteristics of good corrosion resistance, high strength and high heat resistance. It is often used in the development of high-temperature titanium and titanium alloys for aircraft engines , and the development of structural titanium and titanium alloys for airframes . Since the 1980s , high-strength, corrosion-resistant titanium alloys have been further developed and are mainly used in the production of aerospace components, such as some components of aircraft engine compressors and structural components of missiles, rockets, and high-speed aircraft .

Characteristics of GR5 titanium plate

high heat intensity

It still has a high specific strength in the range of 150°C to 500°C , and can work for a long time at a temperature of 450° C to 500°C , and the working temperature of titanium alloys can reach 500°C

The density of titanium alloy is generally around 4.51g/cm3 , which is only 60% of steel . High chemical activity

The chemical activity of titanium is large, and it produces strong chemical reactions with O2 , CO , N2 , CO2 , H2 , ammonia, water vapor, etc. in the atmosphere
