Gr9 titanium alloy is a low-alloyed near-α titanium alloy with a nominal composition of Ti-3Al-2.5V. It is developed as a cold-processable pipe application and has good cold formability and welding performance, and room temperature strength. It is 20%~50% higher than industrial pure titanium and has good corrosion resistance in many media. Gr9 welding performance and cold forming performance are better than TC4 alloy .
