Advantages: TC11 titanium alloy has high thermal stability and good thermal processing technology, and can be welded and machined in various ways. The α phase of this alloy is smaller than the β phase and has better corrosion resistance.

Disadvantages: Although TC11 titanium alloy has many advantages, there are also some disadvantages. For example, the α phase in the TC11 titanium alloy manufactured by laser additive manufacturing contains lower Mo elements than the β phase, which is prone to selective preferential dissolution. In addition, after double annealing heat treatment, the α phase content increases and coarsens, and the corrosion resistance decreases slightly.
