R60705 zirconium plate is one of the zirconium products we produce. Its high strength and corrosion resistance are suitable for use in harsh chemical environments . This product is made from pure zirconium, with a composition of 99.5% zirconium and 0.5% hafnium. It has excellent mechanical properties and can withstand high temperatures up to 600°C. Unique is its excellent neutron absorption properties. This makes it a popular choice for nuclear applications such as fuel cladding and structural components in reactors. Its low thermal neutron cross-section also makes it an effective shield against ionizing radiation. Our zirconium plates range in width from 10mm to 1000mm and in thickness from 0.5mm to 60mm.
