How to adjust titanium glasses arms
Titanium eyeglass frames are highly favored by consumers for their lightness, corrosion resistance, and high strength. However, overly tight temple arms can cause discomfort during wear and even press on the temples. In fact, as long as you master the correct methods, you can easily adjust the angle of titanium eyeglass temple arms by yourself.

Preparation
Before making adjustments, prepare the necessary tools first: rubber pliers (pliers with anti-slip rubber pads to avoid scratching the frame) and a soft cloth (used to pad the operation area and protect the frame). At the same time, choose an environment with sufficient lighting and a flat tabletop to ensure a smooth operation.
Adjustment Steps
Initial Inspection: Place the glasses flat on the table and observe the angle between the temple arms and the frame to determine the specific position of the tightness. Under normal circumstances, when the temple arms are fully extended, they form an angle of approximately 90° with the plane of the frame.
Slightly Adjust the Opening and Closing Angle of the Temple Arms: Lay the glasses flat on the soft cloth. Hold both sides of the connection between the temple arms and the frame with both hands, and gently pull the temple arms outward in a slow and gentle manner. Control the adjustment range within 5° each time. Pay attention to applying even force to avoid deforming or breaking the temple arms due to excessive force. If the tightness issue still persists, proceed to the next step.
Adjust the Bent Part of the Temple Arms: For the situation where the ends of the temple arms fit too tightly against the face, use the rubber pliers to grip the position of the temple arms that needs adjustment, and use the other hand to hold the rest of the temple arms. Gently bend the temple arms outward or inward. For example, if the ends of the temple arms press inward against the head, bend them outward; conversely, bend them inward. During the adjustment process, try on the glasses multiple times and make fine adjustments each time until a comfortable wearing effect is achieved.
Precautions
Although titanium alloy has a certain degree of flexibility, repeated and excessive adjustments can cause fatigue and reduce its strength. Therefore, try to make the adjustment accurate in one go and avoid repeated adjustments.
If the tightness of the temple arms is caused by frame deformation or hinge damage, it is not recommended to make adjustments by yourself. Instead, take the glasses to a professional eyewear store for repair to avoid causing more serious damage.
If you hear a "clicking" sound or feel abnormal resistance during the adjustment process, stop the operation immediately and check for any damaged parts.
By mastering these adjustment methods, you can easily solve the problem of overly tight titanium eyeglass temple arms and enjoy a more comfortable wearing experience. If you have any other troubles related to eyewear use, feel free to learn more tips!
