GR1 Titanium Foil Roll

GR1 titanium foil roll is a thin sheet product made of high-quality, multi-functional , high-purity, light-weight and corrosion-resistant titanium metal. It is made of high-quality titanium, and the titanium foil roll has excellent mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of 240MPa and a yield strength of 170MPa. Its density is as low as 4.51g/cm3, making it one of the lightest industrial metals.

Preparation process of titanium foil roll

1.
Refining raw materials: The preparation of titanium foil begins with refining high-purity titanium metal from natural titanium ore. This step usually includes ore beneficiation, reduction, chlorination and other processes.

Smelting and Casting: The refined high-purity titanium is smelted and then cast into massive titanium plates.

3.
Heat treatment: The titanium plate undergoes heat treatment to adjust its crystal structure and improve the strength and toughness of the material by controlling temperature and time.

4.
Rolling: The heat-treated titanium plate is rolled through a rolling mill and gradually compressed into the desired sheet shape, which is titanium foil.

Dimensional and thickness inspection: Use high-precision measuring tools to determine the size and thickness of titanium foil to ensure that the product meets regulatory requirements.
