Product Introduction

Pure titanium plate is one of the titanium products produced by our company. We can also customize different types of titanium plates, titanium rods, titanium tubes, titanium wires and titanium forgings. Industrial pure titanium is divided into grades gr1 , gr2 , gr3 and GR4 according to the content of impurities . The interstitial impurity elements of these kinds of industrial pure titanium gradually increase, so their mechanical strength and hardness also increase step by step. The commonly used industrial pure titanium in industry is GR2 , because of its moderate corrosion resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties. GR3 and GR4 can be used when higher strength requirements are required .

Properties of titanium plate

ASTM B265 Standard Specification for Titanium and Titanium Alloy Plates , Sheets and Strips is the most commonly used standard for manufacturing plates , sheets and strips.

It has low strength and high plasticity . Gr1/ 1 grade titanium plate can be used when good formability is required . The characteristics of its titanium plate and belt are softer than any other grade.

Gr1 Gr2 gr3 Gr4 Offers mild to high oxidation resistance with highest ductility and excellent cold formability.

Gr.2 Plates, sheets and strips have medium strength and have excellent weldability and formability. The ultimate tensile strength can reach 450Mpa and above.

Industrial pure titanium can withstand both hot processing and cold processing. Processing such as forging, extrusion, rolling and drawing on equipment

②Melting point : 1800℃

③Reduction of area : ψ=25%

④Thermal conductivity : λ=15.24W/(mK)

⑤Tensile strength : σb=539MPa
