The ratio to gravity is higher than grade 1 titanium plate , but the strength is lower than GR3 titanium plate and grade 4 titanium plate .
gr2 grade titanium is commercially pure titanium used by many chemical plants . The ultimate tensile strength of grade 2 plates is above 450 MPa .

Titanium has a high temperature resistance and a melting point of 1942K, which is nearly 1000K higher than gold and nearly 500K higher than steel. Grade 2 titanium plate is made of titanium metal, which is pressed into a plate shape through a special treatment process to become a titanium plate.
