Heat treatment system

Annealing :
700-800°C, 15-60min, air cooling; bars, forgings, die forgings, thick-walled profiles and their parts: 700-850°C, 1-4h, air cooling。

Stress relief annealing: 600 to 650°C, 0.5 to 8 hours, air cooling. It mainly manufactures aircraft, engine parts and welded load-bearing parts that work under 500℃ for a long time.

The working temperature of BT20 titanium can reach 500℃ for a long time (3000h) and 800℃ for an instant (not more than 5min). When working at 450℃, the life span can reach 6000h.
welding:
The welding behavior is basically similar to that of alpha alloys, and stabilization annealing is not necessarily required after welding. The strength of its martensite α phase is close to the strength of the α phase. The welding performance of the alloy is good in argon arc welding, contact welding and submerged arc welding. The room temperature strength and high temperature strength of the weld are 90%-95% of the strength of the base metal.
Melting point: The melting point is about 1630°C. The higher melting point makes the alloy show good stability and heat resistance in high temperature environments.
Linear expansion coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient is low, so when the temperature changes, the size of the alloy changes less, which can reduce deformation and damage caused by thermal stress
