GR.7 titanium alloy is an α+β type titanium alloy with excellent corrosion resistance and high strength . Excellent performance in machining and welding. The density is 4.51 g/cm³ and the specific strength is higher than 2000 MPa . The coefficient of thermal expansion is lower than that of most metals, and the thermal conductivity is also quite low. Its material has little deformation after being heated, has good corrosion resistance, and is not corroded by oxygen, hydrogen, water and other environments. Grade 7 titanium alloy rod has the same physical properties as the titanium alloy as a whole , with a tensile strength of 620 MPa , a yield strength of 460 MPa , and an elongation of more than 20% . The corrosion resistance is better than other titanium alloys. Not only does it resist corrosion better than titanium, but it also resists corrosion better than other metals such as tungsten and zirconium. Grade 7 titanium alloy rods can be processed by TIG welding and arc welding. The welding performance is very good and can be performed in high temperature environment.
